Raise the Tide - Episode 13

Doug Hoppe talks with Brad Boyson about his journey into people analytics and how frameworks like those found in ISO30414 and ISO30415 can help an organization build its data foundation.

In this video interview, Doug shares some of his insights on the potential value-add that ISO guidelines have in establishing a common framework for measuring and communicating critical people data. He explains that leaders want to know more about what is happening with their people, and if you use frameworks like ISO, you lend credibility and weight to that discussion.

Doug is uniquely qualified to speak on this topic given his role at Stanford University and a lead on the U.S. Technical Advisory Groups (TAG) to develop HRM standards as part of ISO's Technical Committee (TC260).

Highlighting the importance of a standardized approach, Doug also talks about the work bodies like ISO and the SEC are doing to guide organizations on how they are performing with people and collectively how they are doing against their peer organizations.
