From Insight to Impact: The Power of Human Capital
Why Should You Measure Human Capital Impact?
Recent research by the McKinsey Global Institute estimates that human capital accounts for two-thirds of ann individual’s total wealth, with work experience contributing nearly half of that value. This reinforces what the Human Capital Impact (HCI) Network has long championed: the workplace is not just where people earn - it is where value is created.
At HCI, we support organizations and policymakers to measure, manage, and report this value through international standards such as ISO 30414 for human capital reporting and disclosure. Our goal is to make the workforce impact visible and actionable so that better, data-driven decisions can be made about people, performance, and long-term sustainability.
Listen to some of our global team members discuss this more in the video below.
Our Vision
Our team of global expert’s vision is to empower a worldwide community on how human capital impacts organizational value and provide solutions that help organizations make data-driven decisions.
Global HCM Standards
ISO 30414:2018 and related ISO publications have been produced by a global team of experts - many of whom are part of our team.
Why My Organization Needs Global HCM Standards
Measuring human capital in a consistent, meaningful way provides a means for leaders to make informed decisions about their most valuable asset, their people. Many of our members are actively involved in technical committees within ISO which produce Human Resource Management (HRM) standards. ISO/TC260 is the main track within ISO for developing HRM standards including ISO30414 and many of our members actively participate in these committees. Click here for more information on ISO/TC260.
